4th of July Fireworks in Fairfield will be on Thursday, June 30th at the Fairfield Recreation Complex on Hollywood Avenue. The fun will start in Fairfield at 5:30 p.m., a variety of food will be available for purchase, complimentary face painting and tatoos, a concert in the park, followed by the 4th of July Fireworks! The West Essex Memorial Day Parade is the kickoff to summer and let's face it -- some things are just irresistible when it comes to summertime. With summer coming to an end, I must say that I am looking forward to the fall in Fairfield, New Jersey. I've had enough of sun, heat, humidity, pool, Jersey Shore, and YES, the kids bugs too!

The Fairfield Town Pool Early Bird Prices for Fairfield New Jersey residents ends on March 26, 2010.
Fairfield New Jersey Town Pool is scheduled to open on Memorial Day Weekend (May 29th). The pool will be open on weekends only from 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. until the day after Fairfield Schools break for summer. Once Fairfield schools are out for summer, the pool will be open daily through Labor Day (Sept. 6th). Pool hours will then be Monday through Friday: 11:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday/Holiday 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
