Orange County's Real Estate Rating Shot Up!
GMAC Bank recently announced that some Southern California real estatemarkets had been bumped from a 'D' rating on their scale to a 'B'. Each zip code is rated separately and mortgage bankers and loan officers can access the software to search each zip code on GMAC's website.
The rating scale can be used as a barometer for local real estate markets. The previous 'D' rating meant that those zip codes were risky and considered to be "decling markets". The new and improved 'B' rating means that those zip codes are considered to be stabilizing.

Are Banks Scamming Borrowers Out Of Their Homes?
I've been hearing quite a few strange stories from friends, family and clients regarding their nightmare experiences in an attempt to obtain a loan modification.
While the banks and media continue to place blame with the attorney's firms and loan modification companies, I'm beginning to realize that something else is going on behind the scenes in this unregulated industry.
Yes, there are loan modification companies out there scamming people, but it appears that the banks themselves are doing some of the scamming and forcing homeowners into foreclosure!
