Tempe seems to be following it's own trend, and not what the rest of the valley is doing. Current inventory has increased again this month and is at 999 home. The Phoenix metro area and the other east valley cities have seen their current inventory decrease over the last several months.

There has been stiff competition from builders which is hurting the resale market as well as many foreclosures. Several builders have recently gone into foreclosure as well, leaving Gilbert with several unfinished subdivisions
