mesa az: Jump Start the New Year! - 01/05/12 08:15 PM
The Valley has plenty of exciting things planned for our economy in 2012. mesa az: Home Affordable Refiance Program - Can it Help You - 10/27/11 03:31 PM

mesa az: Check Carefully into Foreclosed AZ Real Estate Bargain - 01/28/10 05:04 PM
For potential AZ real estate investors who have money in their pockets, today's real estate market seems full of bargains. However it still pays be very careful before purchasing property no matter what the sale price. Some of the best bargains out there have foreclosure written all over them. One of the largest red flags with foreclosures is they are held in the lender's hands, and more often than not, the lender is not caring for the property. In cold climates this could mean frozen pipes or water damage, and in other areas, it could mean general plumbing problems. In general

mesa az: AZ Real Estate Roller Coaster Leaves Many Questions - 01/27/10 05:28 PM
Let's face it, times are tough and on any given day the mood is a different one than the day before. The market's up, then down, we're in a recession, we're recovering, it is hard to know what is really happening out there with so many mixed signals. Real estate is difficult to figure out, and remains relative to where you are in the country. So is Arizona real estate really improving? Sales are up, inventory is down but Arizona foreclosures are expected to keep coming, especially with unemployment figures on the rise. Have we hit bottom? The December real estate sales figures were

mesa az: Avoid Selling Your Mesa AZ Home in Buyers Market - 12/29/09 04:36 PM
Today's real estate market is a buyer's market, which means you should not sell your Mesa AZ home except if you are forced. The bottom of the market is near, if it has not already occurred, which means now is the time to hang onto your home. The reason you should not sell your Mesa property right now is clear - obviously you will not be getting top dollar for your AZ home. However, if you have to sell you need to make your home as competitive as possible. Your home not only needs to be priced to sell and it needs

mesa az: Government is Putting Pressure to Decrease Foreclosures in Mesa, AZ and Nationwide - 12/01/09 08:46 PM
With unemployment figures on the rise, the number of nation wide and Mesa AZ foreclosures is expected to keep rising over the coming months and the federal government is trying to do something about it. The government is putting pressure to decrease foreclosures in Mesa, AZ and nationwide. President Obama created legislation in February that was expected to help those facing foreclosure across the nation and in Mesa AZ, yet the programs set in place are reported to have been enforced sluggishly by many of the lending institutions. The pressure is starting this week. The Federal Government is saying "Help these

mesa az: Remodeling Your Mesa AZ House - 11/21/09 01:45 PM
Be careful what you spend these days when you are thinking about remodeling your Mesa AZ house. Home values are down and so are the recovered costs of remodeling. It is best to take a look at the cost vs. value before taking on a remodel project. In 2005, at the peak of the real estate market nationwide, approximately 87% of the cost of a remodel would be recouped in the sale of a home. Today's real estate market is recovering approximately 64% of the remodel costs. Everybody is watching their wallets, so if you are considering a remodel think carefully.
