Loudoun Habitat for Humanity 2009 Christmas Ornaments are now for sale! These darling gold ornaments were made by the youth committee. Each nail ornament is available for a $3 donation to Loudoun Habitat. They are available for sale at the office of Ask Gina & Company with RE/MAX Select Properties in Sterling from now until Christmas as well as at The Capitol Steps show tonight at 7pm. The United Nations estimates that there are over 100 million people in the world today are homeless. Most are without electricity, running water, or adequate sanitation and security.
Habitat for Humanity wants to recognize October 5th as National Habitat Day and build global observance that "affordable, adequate housing should be a priority everywhere - in our communities, in our towns, in our country, [and] in our world."

With the summer months upon us, the ReStore is busy with work and many of our great volunteers are going on vacation. So we need your help! All willing individuals 14 years of age or older are welcome to help run the ReStore located at 715 E Main Street in Purcellville. The ReStore needs volunteers Tuesday through Saturday from 9am to 5pm. Every little bit helps, so any times that you are available will be put to good use. No special skills or materials needed.

Loudoun Habitat for Humanity will host its first annual Golf Classic at River Creek Club on Monday, May 11th. There will be two tee times with the first starting at 8:15am and the second at 1:30pm. The club house will offer a complimentary barbeque buffet and a cash bar from 11:30am-1:30pm. The Loudoun Habitat ReStore opened for sales April 2nd. We'll have limited hours for the first 2 weeks and then the GRAND OPENING on April 18th. We need your help to make our debut a huge success.
Volunteers are needed Tuesday through Saturday to help finish setting up the store and then to help us sell. No special skills are needed.
