Children often look at homeas their safe haven and change can be very difficult and scary for them. It is very important to include them in all stages of the transition. Talk to them and ask them for suggestions and encourage them to share their ideas. Letting a child be involved in the transition gives them permission to talk about their feelings, and helps them adjust better the move. It takes the scary out of change and helps it become an adventure and ease the transition of the move.

It's that time again to peel off thos jackets and welcome warm weather. May 2, 2009 City of College Station will kick off a free series of concerts.  This year Fog Hat will be the first  Starlight Music Series

Go Green With the 2009 Brazos Valley Earth Day - 03/27/09 12:39 PM
 


On Saturday, April 18, 2009 Downtown Bryan will host Brazos Valley Earth Day 2009.  The day will be filled with activities from 10am to 3pm that are absloutley free to the public. There will be over 50 educational booths on enviormental topics to help preserve our enviorment. The Rockafellas will be preforming live to the public as well.
The event is located between Tabor Road and Regent Ave. close to the Brazos Valley Children's Museum . Keep Brazos Beautiful......................

A while back I posted a poem that I had ran across in a church bulletin called ' Do It Anyway', I believe to be written by Mother Teresa. I found it at a very challenging time in my life and it gave me much inspiration. With the challenges in the economic market it seems that people (including myself) have been more on edge, having more disagreements in their personal and professional lives.
