I closed on a property yesterday that has been in escrow for almost two years. That was a closing I thought would never happen and one I was glad to see done finally. This property was from a NASTY divorce with a court order to sell. Well the husband did everything he could to try to make it not happen. First he took out a fraudulent home equity loan. He took it out a month before the divorce was final without the knowledge of his ex-wife to be and stated on the loan docs he was single.
