I live in the central California mountains...there's a missing reality here about real estate sales and I had almost become part of it.
This past week I was in Southern CA, Orange County, and I got my reality back.  My mother's neighbor's home was For Sale...it sold in 4 hours (full price with 2 back up offers), AND Southern CA has an abundance of homes on the market that are just sitting there.  I had to find out the secret(s) or key to this success story.

Everyone wants a news article written about their business, right.  Like many of you I have been sending out the press releases, buying ads, offering to write advise columns, etc. etc.  to no avail.  In fact I had just about given up on the whole newspaper thing.  My local press is small and in tracking results from my ads, it's not good marketing, but it's the only press around.  So last Feb. with spring fever in the air I decided to give another ad a try.  Well the press screwed it up for three editions.  Website address was wrong amongst other … (2 comments)

Newsletter, snoozeletter - 05/16/07 10:57 AM
Advise please. I have been reading many blogs about newsletters and I haven't found one that addresses this issue.  If you know of one please direct me.
I'm having my website redesigned and my designer asked this question.  Do I want a page with an option for readers to fill in information to request my e-mail newsletter OR do I want them to e-mail me with that request OR do I want a link on my website that takes readers directly to my current newsletter.
