My wound healed VERY quickly! UPDATE - 04/19/09 10:56 PM
If you read my blog post from this a.m. Shot Myself in the Foot but that's OK, here is an update. Within a few minutes of posting that blog I got a call from the agent. Stage it NOW was his plea because he'd decided to have an Open House this week. Prior to the painting and new carpet he just wanted to DUMP this place. When I arrived for the consultation I had to tell them that they also needed to update, and remove wallpaper. It took weeks to get ready for staging because the daughter couldn't bear to spend extended hours in the house. The whole process (27 comments)

Many of you helped me out with decisions I had to make on our renovation of our 2nd home/vacation rental in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Here's how it started. I wanted the colors of the ocean for accents with a pop of orange as the complement for the blues. Here the silk taffeta panels are aqua. Since I had to plan the entire project from California, before I purchased any furnishings or artwork this color seemed fine to me.
However they were a BI%$H to hem and I wasn't at all happy with them, but since fabric is limited on the Big Island (unless (9 comments)
