dream interior redesign and staging oakhurst ca: Realtors...inspiration and rescue found here. - 11/23/11 11:33 AM
Realtors, inspiration and rescue found here. On one of my recent blogs I had a Realtor comment "I really think a lot of agents just don't know the value of staging because they've never really seen the end result", and it inspired this post. If that's true, or even if it's not, we stagers would like you to join (or lurk) this group. Staging "Before" and "After" Pictures: http://activerain.com/groups/beforeandafterpics We would love to hear your comments and thoughts, plus help you gain valuable information about our industry. Thanks to group founder Kathy Nielsen for starting and moderating this group. In Fresno and Madera

dream interior redesign and staging oakhurst ca: Get out of that damp, dreary, gray FOG. You need the sunshine! - 01/03/10 11:07 AM
Get out of that damp, dreary, gray FOG. You need the sunshine! Living in the Central San Joaquin Valley always brings the fog this time of year...but you needn't endure it day after day. Head to the local mountains and be warmed by the sunshine. Take your sunglasses out and use them. Take Highway 41 (southern route), Highway 120 (northern route) or Highway 140 (central route) and climb out of the gray and into the blue. If driving up Highway 41, you will usually break out of the fog at about elevation 1500' or where Road 200 (to North Fork) meets the highway. Over the holidays,

dream interior redesign and staging oakhurst ca: Vacant and Empty...that's a good thing??? - 07/09/08 08:15 PM
Often I hear agents say " it's vacant and easy to show". I wonder if they seriously, think that vacant and empty is a good thing? Visualizing what a room can be may be easy for them but for the majority of people it is not. How do these spaces INSPIRE or make potential buyers want to purchase ? (see after photos below) * Empty rooms leave potential buyers with an empty feeling. * Empty rooms feel cold, and uninspiring. * Empty rooms give off negative energy. * Empty rooms usually feel smaller than rooms that are professionally staged. * Empty rooms often sound hollow and unappealing.

dream interior redesign and staging oakhurst ca: A REDESIGN now is much more. - 05/04/08 01:29 PM
Dream Interior Redesign & Staging recently did a presentation to a MOPS (Mothers Of PreSchoolers)group on Using Accessories. Afterward I offered to do a free redesign to one of their members. The chairperson promised free publicity from this and so why not, I had the time. Members submitted their "dreams" for a room in the house and I selected the one that I wanted to redesign. Here are two of the before photos that she submitted. Here are the results: New furniture (except for the entertainment center), new lighting, new paint, new window treatments, new artwork (not visible in the photo) AND

dream interior redesign and staging oakhurst ca: Mirror Mirror on the Wall ...you're the ugliest of them all. - 06/12/07 06:25 PM
We've all seen them. The large plate glass mirrors that cover an entire wall in the bathroom or other location throughout homes. Often, due to water and humidity damage the backing is gone and they look really BAD! Of course home owners can update them with a miter saw, some stock molding, black paint, and marine glue, but too often that doesn't happen. If the sellers don't know how to cut a good miter, or paint or they just aren't do it yourselfers...there is an alternative. Check out www.mirrormate.com for ideas and for purchasing mirror frames. They aren't cheap but they
