Staged to Rent...Part Two, the interior.
When the owner of this beach city home contacted Dream Interior Redesign and Staging, regarding the renovation of his rental property we knew that we had a long-term, major job ahead of us, but we're always up for a challenge and hard work.
This property would remain a rental, but the last tenants had been there for 7 years and it was in a sad state of repair. Plus, it had never been updated since it was built in 1978.

This project started with the property owner asking Dream Interior Redesign and Staging, "what color should I paint my rental property?"
He sent me a photo of the front of the property and I "painted" my color suggestions on the exterior.
The before photo is on the left and the virtually painted photo on the right:

From virtual to reality that's what we do!
In Part Two I will show the interiors and how those results got a qualified tenant.

This past week I made the trek to Huntington Beach California to stage an apartment For Rent. In the past the owner of this unit had no trouble renting it in less than a month. However, in this economy and with today's renter's expectations it had been sitting vacant for 4 months.
So I crammed the van with as much as it would hold and we staged the most important rooms.
Do you think that it will now appeal to more renters?
