Condo Associations
Have you ever heard of a condo association foreclosing on a condo and then buying it with dues of the owners?
We are having something like that going on here and I do not know who to go to for help. I can't help but think that this is wrong. Have rules changed....if they have, I feel that human decency has eluded us.
I have great concern for the folks that lost their unit even though they were trying to work out a payment schedule with the association.

March comes in like a lamb here on the eastern coast of North Carolina. I have always heard that if March come in like a lamb...that it goes out like a Lion.

Well, I am the grandma and many times I feel like the Ma. Today, I was able to enjoy three of my Grandchildren. AngaElla, age 9 months, Marissa age 2 years 8 months and Joshua just turned 5. They are the most delightful children of all times. We take pictures of them and post them on facebook. They are the apple of our eyes...

I am stilll trying to be successful with AR and try new things a lot.
I see where some of our folks get to have a featured post. Is that measured from the content of the post, or the number of hits or what?
I read them and think that they had written an exceptional post and enjoy them.
Any hints or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I had my first duty day today and it was awesome. I was only on duty from 2:30 till 5:00 and I have 4 sales calls. Can I tell you how many calls I usually get during the "Opportunity Time Slot"? Zilch.. So if this is any kind of an indicator..we will have a good year in 2011.
Since January 1, 2011, I have listed one lot, re-listed 4 properties and show property to buyers 2 days in a row.
Let me know if you are feeling this also.

Good Morning Southport!
It is another great day in Southport NC...
WE are on the Beaver Dam Creek that goes into the IntraCoastal Waterway that goes into the Cape Fear River that goes into the Atlantic Ocean. The way "the crow flies", we are 2 miles from the Ocean.
Talk about a great place to live...this is IT!
WE had snow flurries yesterday morning....nothing this morning. It was beautifuol as it was coming down.
Glad it is gone now.

You can learn so much from your active rain associates. Many have really neat information that can give you a link or idea that you can then explore. I feel that I am not alone and that there are other Active rain folks just like me, needing new ideas or remembering the old tried and true systems that have worked for along time.

Sunny Coast of Brunswick County NC.....but the temperature is 19 degrees. We are just not used to this kind of cold weather. It is hard to go out and show a house when you can not get our fingers to unlock the door of the house that you are showing.
I am glad that our average temperate is 72 degrees...Don't know what happened this week.

Not so here. I am in the southeast part of North Carolina where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Cape Fear River...and the rain is falling on us.
We live on a creek, called the Beaver Dam Creek (for obvious reasons) and the 10 inches of rain that we have gotten..is quite enough.
Seems like the weather systems that affect us think we need more.
I will let you know how it turns out

Is Business picking up for you?
I am in the coastal part of North Carolina, where the Atlantic Ocean and the Cape Fear River join. It has been slow here for the past 4 years but I am beginning to see some increased activity. Everyone says that we have reached the bottom...I am not so sure, but I do know that prices are much more affordable. I almost feel that we are back to pre 2005 prices. Does anyone else get that feeling?

Fresh Coffee...
This morning I got into the office and there was not coffee..
I need a fresh cup of coffee in the morning to get started. So I went into the kitchen and brewed the first pot of the day. The smell, brought all of the agents out into the hall to enjoy the aroma.
Now the pot is empty and I feel the need to brew another pot for all to enjoy.

We had lots of family from around the US to come and visit and enjoy the forth of July in Southport,North Carolina.
We had family to come from Greensboro, Asheville, Nashville, to come and join us on the front porch.
The parade was great, the bands were great, the food was great. It was great all the way around.
Hope that you will come and join us for the 4th in 2011..

Today, we performed our Sea Notes, Spring concert at Hatch Auditorium on Caswell Beach NC and it was "All About Love". Our Director, Diane Hoffman chose a good number of songs that were all about love, Love of Country, Love of friends, Love of each other. It was fun and I enjoyed performing this concert.
Sea Notes is a choral group of persons like myself taht truly enjoy singing. Not great...just enjoy singing.
