The sq ft ranges from 1300 to around 3000 sq ft. Most of the homes are vinyl sided, although there a few brick homes in the community. Lots sizes vary with the average being around 1/3 of an acre. The community was entirely built out by 2003. The neighborhood of 120 homes was laid out in a curvilinear pattern which gives it an open feeling. Conservation (3 comments)

The Arboretum gift shop The Potting Shed has unique items and books on NC gardening. Ken Wells, the Consumer Horticulture Director and his Master Gardener Volunteers provide a wealth of gardening information about what to grow, proper soil conditions, and are a great resource for trouble shooting plant problems. Each March we look forward to the Arboretum (5 comments)
