Missing email notifications of new comments

Calling all wordpress gurus....

I do not receive any email notifications when someone comments on my blog. I tried the forums on wordpress.org and didn't see a fix. Does anyone else have this problem?

Free WordPress vs. Hosted Wordpress

I recently had my website redone and they set me up with a free wordpress.com account. (My first entrance and expsoure to the addictive world of blogging!)

SO, what is the difference between the free account and the hosted account? Should I switch? It is easier to use? Does anyone have their wordpress hosted through godaddy? I purchased a name through them, but don't have them hosting it yet. I was planning to just forward the domain to my wordpress blog.

I would love any suggestions, feedback, or directions to other resouces!

Calling all perfectionists..

I am struggling getting going with blogging. I suffer from "perfection paralysis"- I want things to be perfect before I publish them! I am afraid this fear will keep me from being a successful blogger. I would love feedback from other perfectionists out there who have successfully overcome your own paralysis!

Business vs. Personal Blogging

Hello! I am new to Active Rain and have posted a few comments this week. I have a question about blogging…how do you mix your business blogs with your personal blogs? Should you and can you? Some of the personal things I do make me a better real estate agent, but I don’t know where the line should be drawn. Should I have a separate personal blog? Thank you for all of the advice and insight. I am excited to learn more!
