A NEW Fire Extinguisher that could Save Your Family

Kitchen fireIt is best to always have a fire extinguisher near the kitchen in the event cooking gets out of hand.     Grease fires are by far the most scary of all!      A normal reaction to a fire, is to spray water to put the fire out, but with grease fires,  it makes the fire explode!   

If you should experience a grease fire, the best way to put it out, is to get a lid and smother the flames in the pan for 20+ minutes until it is completely out.    If no lid is available, a cookie sheet, or any other metal will do to cover the fire.    DO NOT spray water on a grease fire, as using one cup of water creates 1700 cups of steam and creates enough heat & flames and will send a kitchen up in flames in minutes.

StoveTop FireStop

There is a new product on the market that detects fires, and is hidden until you need it!   StoveTop FireStop is a canister with a magnet that can be put under a hood or a microwave and be out of sight.      This product can be ordered through Lowe’s Commercial desk and will be delivered within 5 days.
