National Grid Almost Freebies | Programmable Thermostats.  Brrrr..., honey it is cold outside...seems to be the rant around here as of late and with good reason.  Temperatures at night are in the high 30's to low 40's and is a quick wake up to the winter weather around the corner in RI real estate living.  So National Grid has almost a freebie programmable thermostat they are giving to customers for $4.95!  I know I spent over a $100 for mine when I went and bought one at Home Depot when i moved into my new home.
