Wickford RI Art Festival – Celebration of Fifty Years. The 50th annual Wickford Art Festival will be held on July 7th & Wickford RI 50th Anniversary Art Festival July 8th 2012 in the historic coastal community of Wickford RI 02852. It runs both on Saturday & Sunday from 10-6 pm. It is run by the Wickford Art Association and now it is one of the oldest Art Festivals in the country. Waterfront Art -Wickford RI- Whimsy for Sure. You could call it my daily pedal to the metal as I tool around the waterfront of Wickford Village. With this gorgeous weather we have been having in Rhode Island this past week there is no reason to stay in the house. The traffic on the roads is like summer time along the southern RI coast. So when you can go off the beaten path along a side street in Wickford, a.k.a. Pleasant Street and catch glimpses of Wickford Harbor it is worth the sights at hand.
