NORTH ATTLEBORO - The North Attleboro Firefighters Kids Day Association has donated $10,000 to Neighbors Helping Neighbors, a fuel-assistance program that helps local families struggling to pay winter heating bills.The check was officially presented Thursday to the charitable organization launched several years ago by selectmen Chairman John Rhyno and his wife, Sherry."We're looking to form a new partnership between Neighbors Helping Neighbors and Kids Day," firefighter Glenn Lavery said. "This will not be just a one-time donation. We are looking to form a partnership to bring the assistance to the townspeople who really need it." Article Taken from the Sun
