It is a slow day in the small Minnesota town of Marshall , and the streets are deserted.Times are tough, everybody is in debt, and everybody is living on credit.
A rich tourist visiting the area drives through town, stops at the motel, lays a $100 bill on the desk and says he wants to inspect the rooms upstairs before selecting one for the night.

The Green Lake Community Center is holding a Pumpkin Flashlight Hunt Friday October 22, 2010 from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. The event is for children ages 1-11 but there will be ghoulish fun for the whole family.

The Cascade Bicycle Club is the premier bicycle club of the Puget Sound area and there are rides sponsored almost every day. The organization is instrumental in getting municipalities to designate certain streets as bike friendly and goes to great lengths to promote bike commuting and safe biking for everyone.

In our Ravenna Park neighborhood there is an old traffic circle that is at the intersection of three streets: 17th Ave NE, NE 63rd Street and, NE Naomi Place in Seattle. This is a relatively large traffic circle for a residential neighborhood.
