Today is my son's first birthday. You can see in the photo we've already got him hard at work answering phones.What a fantastic year together and I'm really looking forward to all the great things to come. First steps, days at school, first tricycles and first school plays...We've had some nice celebratory lunches with friends all over Utsunomiya. My favorite has been the lunch my mentor gave where she said, it's to award you for surviving the first year of motherhood. birthday: The Greatest Investment - 10/13/08 06:56 PM

We celebrate many things in life. The greatest to date for us has been the healthy birth of our first child, our son Ronan Amadeus Millar. He was born 4:25PM, 10/7/08 after a long labour by his amazing Mom, Danielle! Through all the hard work, joys and successes in life and to come, we found Ronan's birth to be a wonderful experience to bond and connect on a different, higher level. It is my birthday today! I actually LOVE my birthday even though I am woman over 30. My husband and I had a great day together and ate two cakes yes two, we have a sugar problem. I also got a lot of great gifts from friends and family. Thank you!
