Taps The Bugler's Cry-The Origin of Sounding Taps is a little video that was sent to me from a Franklin, TN Veteran who thought it may be an interesting blog to post.  I agree.  As we end another week with our soldiers fighting,  and in harms way,  all across the globe,  it is only fitting that we learn a little about the origin of the most recognized of military bugle calls, taps.

Jaywalking Teachers
I don't know how many people watch Jay Leno's new show, but since the great Johnny Carson left us, I find myself oftentimes lazily watching and I keep seeing the Jaywalking segment where he interviews people on the street.
Has anyone else noticed how many young teachers that seem so ignorant of the history and current events of the United States?
