I own a few Real Estate Directories and I have opened up free blogs on one of them. I just want to let everyone here on Active Rain know about it. These blogs are built on the Wordpress platform and is a great way to get more exposure to your main site. You can write blog post just like you do here on Active Rain and link to your main site. National Brain Tumor Walk

National Brain Tumor Walk

I am trying to raise money for a great cause. I have a friend that lost her daughter a year and a half ago to a Brain Tumor and they are looking to raise money for The National Brain Tumor Foundation (NBTF) in a walk they are doing in San Francisco this weekend. You can read her story at http://www.myspace.com/hope4alicat . The deadline to raise money online is tomorrow and they were trying to raise $5,000. Right now they are at $2520, so I thought I'd reach out to the Active Rain Community and see if I can use the internet to raise some last minute money for them. FREE REAL ESTATE BLOG SITES

We are offering Free Blog Sites for anyone in the Real Estate Industry. If you are looking for a free website or blog than check out the free sites at Affordable Real Estate Solution. These blogs are built on the Wordpress platform and I have added few real estate themes to make them stand out a little. I will be adding more to them as the days go by. I'm looking for some good real estate plugins and will add some when I find them.

Even if you have your own site this is a great way to make a bigger presence on the internet. You can set up one of the Free Real Estate Sites in 5 minutes. Once you have your site up and running you can start writing blogs and link over to your site from them. What a great way to get some links from a industry related site.

I posted about this before and I thought I'd post again to let all real estate professionals know that our Real Estate Agents and Webmasters Blog is open up to you to post for free. This is a great way to announce your Real Estate Website to the public. There are other sites like this out there that you can announce your site to the public, but by us using are Real Estate Blog to let you do this when you link to your site from the blog you are now getting a couple great one way links from a industry related website.

Just like you use the power of Active Rain to post blog posts and get links to your site and the posts rank well you can also do this over at our blog. For those of you not familiar with Word Press, it's pretty easy. Register and you will get a password emailed to you, log in and write your post. Title your post "Your City" Real Estate, and tell everyone about your site and what you have to offer. You may link to your site and inside pages 3 times, please no more than that.

Here are two examples of how the posts can rank well with Google. Search for Brentwood MLS Search and also Discovery Bay water front homes. The 1st one ranks #1 and the 2nd one ranks #9. So stop by our Blog and register.

Have you heard about the new pay per play advertising format ready to be launched? It's called pay-per-play advertising, similar to Google Adwords except this is an Audio ad heard on related websites. This is another great way to do some advertising.

It is also similar to Google Adsense for Publishers but you receive 100% of the revenue instead of per click. Every time the PPP ad is played on your site which is every time someone visits your site you get payed. If you have a site which gets a lot of traffic you can earn some good money.

Announce your Real Estate website

I just wanted to let you know that my Real Estate Blog is open to the public. This is a great way to announce your real estate site to the public. Not only can you get a couple good links to your site you can also get some good traffic as well.

You may link to your site from the blog post 3 times and please title your post with your city name and real estate in it. This will let the search engines visit your site and drive traffic to your site through mine. The one way links from the blog will help with your search engine placement as well.

Looking for Stagers

I am searching for Home Stagers that have a quality website to join my directory. I started another real estate related directory in Late Feb. of this year. This directory has it's own Home Stagers section and I am looking to get some sites listed so I can start driving traffic to your site. My first two directories were both real estate related but were not structured with Home Stagers having there own section. This is a great place to list your site and get noticed on the search engines. This section ranks on page two of Google for affordable home stagers and right now there are only 3 sites listed. I opened my directory to Mortgage Agents and I have seen some decent traffic coming in from people searching Google for Mortgage Agents. Super Bowl Sunday !!!

Builder Incentives

I just wrote a blog about Builder Incentives and was wondering if any of this is happening in other areas. I've seen incentives before but these are some great incentives. The new homes just keep selling and the older ones are still sitting on the market. Will the market come back to life here in the Bay Area and how long will it take. I'm not a real estate agent myself I just try to follow the market :)

Home Auctions

I was driving home the other day and I started seeing a couple signs that read home for Auction. I live in the California Bay Area and there has been a slow down in the market in the last 6 months or so. I've seen houses go on the market and just sit there. My next door neighbor being one of them. They moved out in June and it still sits empty although they pulled down the sign so they must have something else in mind. The reason some of these homes are sitting on the market are because of the huge Builder Incentives that are going on right now.

I ended up driving right by the home for Auction and realized it was one that I have seen on the market for probably 9 months now. Not only was there a Home Auction sign on the grass but a big cardboard sign that said HELP ME !!! MAKE ME A OFFER. Has anyone else seen this and is the forclosure rate going back up.

So how is everyone doing on shopping? Hopefully by now it is all wrapped up. I know for some they like to do the last minute shopping, and for others Christmas just really sneaks up on you. Can you believe that it is a week from Monday. Wow how time flies and how fast this year went by.

So any new gifts out there? I was wondering what the popular thing is this year. What is the gift that everyone wants that no one can find? Me I'm just looking for a new laptop this year, you know you never can have enough computers ;)
