This was the first Sunday in quite a while that I didn't have an Open House or have to drive Buyer's around.  So, I seized the opportunity and attended church this morning.  Lo & Behold - what was the sermon about?  That Sunday is God's designated "day of rest" and no one should be working!  Well, I don't know about all of you but I have a real beef with that!  I am a single mom that does real estate full-time.  We don't have the LUXURY of not working on Sunday sometimes.  Our client's all work during the week & our weekends are filled making sure the Smith's find a new home, keeping the Jones' happy by holding an Open House, attending our kid's games/functions & MAYBE have a few hours of personal time.

Believe me, there was a time during the "golden age" (cue angel music)  that I rarely worked on Sunday.  Heck, I was having a couple of closings a week & there was so much business that I'd give Buyers that could only go out on Sunday to a new agent!  Well, you all know what happened there...none of us can afford to pass up a good buyer anymore, as they stopped beating down our doors sometime last year!

So, I choose to keep on trucking!  I just gotta work really hard, be the best mom, agent & person that I can be - even if it's on a Sunday!  I pray that the BIG GUY UPSTAIRS understands.  Can I get an AMEN?
