I was always under the impression that honesty is the best policy. But what I am seeing in today's real estate market with respect to listings that just doesn't seem to be the case. When I perform a comprehensive CMA for a client I go through great extremes to make sure the information I provide them is complete and accurate. Inevitably there is a price "range" in which the home should be listed in order to be sold. Seems simple enough, but I have noticed in not getting these listings there is usually one deciding factor. New! $7,500 tax credit for first-time homebuyers First-time homebuyers can take advantage of the new temporary tax credit signed into law on July 30, 2008, by President Bush as part of the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008.
