North Carolina has some of the toughest traffic laws in the country.
For example, if you are convicted of speeding 83 mph in a 65 mph zone, you will find that your license will be suspended in NC and your state as well, if you’re an out-of-state-driver. 
I have no problem with tough laws, as long as they apply to everyone equally… I do take issue with being falsely accused. Especially when my accuser is someone who has sworn an oath to uphold the law… Shouldn’t that also include being truthful?

Foreclosure filings reached a record high in 2009, touching one of every 45 homes, according to RealtyTrac who further reported National foreclosure filings swelled 14 percent in December from November 2009. Although North Carolina leads the nation in growing tobacco, January 2, 2010 restaurants, bars and many lodging establishments in North Carolina became smoke-free zones, thanks to N.C. General Statute 130A-497, otherwise known as North Carolina's Smoke-Free Restaurants and Bars Law.
