Yesterday I was in a meeting with a group of people and introducing them to mobile advertising and the role it plays in the real estate industry. One particular person happened to not be a real estate professional, but in the process of being a homebuyer/seller in Boise. There are so many houses for sale, now how are you going to make your listing STAND OUT from the rest of your competition? Add some spice to it!

This morning Realtor.org posted an RISMedia article on the importance and benefits of presenting listings with photos. Their research identified the DOM shortens from 70 days with one single photo, to 40 days with six photos. Not only did the DOM shorten, but the listing actually sold closer to the asking price with just one photo.

It's that time of year again, real estate agents and offices are revising their marketing plans and budgets for the year. Tough job! There are way more than a handful of new technologies to keep up with and the decision of whether to out with the old, in with the new, or a combination of both.
After doing some research on the amount of money real estate agents spend to market a single listing, ($750 - $1000, avg. depending on listing price), I'm curious as to the advertising breakdown of the listing.

Providing flyers at listings can get costly, let alone sometimes serve as a garbage filler to those consumers who aren't actually interested in the property. You may even be losing leads. AHH!
