Realistically, if you have a secure job, steady income and have 20% down, and you find an interest rate the works for you, the current market should not really matter, do you agree?  

 

Here is the big problem with today's housing market.

 

There are so many buyers sitting on the side lines waiting for bottom to hit and waiting for the NEWS to say, "Home sales have increased, we believe we already hit bottom".  When the price of homes and interest rates are so good right now. When the price of homes hit bottom, prices will start to increase immediately, (This is how we know when we hit bottom)  When you throw a ball to the ground, how can you tell when the ball has hit the ground? When you see it bounces back up!

 

This is why we say now is the best time to buy.  If you wanted to buy a home a couple of years ago and the price of a home was $1,000,000 and I told you that I can sell you that home for $800,000, you would have bought it. Well today that house is $800,000!
