I just made a $50 donation to the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life - Pay It Forward I'm involved with many American Cancer Society Relays for Life throughout the year. This time around, I made a donation to the Relay in Glendale, CA on September 3rd. I have one older brother and 2 older sisters, and I LOVE them VERY much. One of my sisters, when she was in her teens, had a form of cancer called non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She went through major treatment back then and is still here today as a survivor. My partner Richard and I donated $100 in supplies for our American Cancer Society's Relay For Life Smoothie Sales this weekend This weekend we were part of my teams Relay For Life in Covina, CA. We donated the supplies for our smoothie sales and they sold like hotcakes! We had Strawberry Banana, Blueberry Banana, and Chocolate/Peanut Butter/Banana smoothies. Since this was a cancer awareness event, we wanted to make sure that the smoothies were healthy. Donated $70 to the American Cancer Society's "Smash Cancer" Tennis Event This weekend, I'm participating in the American Cancer Society's "Smash Cancer" tennis event. Donation is $35. I paid for myself and I also paid for a good friend of mine so that they can participate also. It's a great event with tennis drills, a round robin, and lunch afterwards. It's being held at the Paseo Club in Santa Clarita, CA.

Pay It Forward - I made the first donation towards our American Cancer Society's Group Lotto. This month, on April 30th, our group, Team Esperance is participating in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life in Covina, CA. We are doing many things to raise money, but I have set us up to raise funds by being part of the coolest Group Lotto site:

I've created a Lotto For Life - Pay It Forward Once again, this year, I have joined a Relay For Life team, which raises funds for the American Cancer Society. What I've decided to do is create a group lotto where half the proceeds for buying the tickets will be donated to the American Cancer Society. I'm creating a website where people can purchase the California Lottery tickets online using their credit card or PayPal card.

American Cancer Society's "Relay for Life" - A big success!! Our Relay for Life event this weekend was a big success. Our team, the Castaway Crew, was able to raise over $5000!! At our booth, we sold "Antioxidant" Smoothies in Strawberry, Blueberry and Chocolate/Peanut Butter/Banana flavors made with almond mild, chocolate rice milk, fresh blueberries, fresh strawberries, fresh bananas, natural peanut butter, and agave nectar. We also sold multigrain chips with fresh guacamole and salsa (it felt like I was peeling avacados for days!) This particular event was in Henderson, Nevada.
