On my trip to Washington , I went to the National Smithsonian Zoo.
I saw this guy, very perked up, later he was pacing back and forth next the fence.....
Why was he pacing because the animals below were on the other side of the fence.....

The joy, the elation, the lack of boredom... in my house it is signaled by BASEBALL dominating the air waves.
It really doesn't matter who's playing as long as there is a bat, ball, mits, bases, etc.
However, when the San Francisco Giants are on tv, the world in my home STOPS.
Tonight is the Battle of the Bay, The Oakland A's play the San Francisco Giants. It's the bragging rights series, because no matter where you go in Northern CA you will find A's fans and Giant's Fans. Sometimes this battle is in the same house.

At what point do you tell a tenant to GET OUT of a Short Sale Listing?
I've been on the buyer side and the listing side of short sales in Tracy and in Mountain House. What I'm finding is that there is no impetus, no sense of urgency for the tenant to remove themselves and their possessions from the short sale they are occupying. The seller also has no degree of urgency as they are DONE and just want the property out of their hands.

Northern CA, if the sun comes out, get out there and clean those outside windows. Take the screens off, give them a good scrub, while they are drying wash those outside windows. When the sun comes out you'll be glad you did. It's also easier to be "streak free" if the sun is not beating down on the window while it's drying.

WELLS FARGO paid thier Chief Executive Officer John Stumpf $19 million in compensation for 2010. WOW.
I heard Mr Stumpf on a talk show stating that it was not prudent to Wells Fargo's investors that they allow principal reductions as a for of loan modifications.

I hit 200,000 points tonight.
I know it's not the points that matter, right? Of course they do. It one of the ways that Active Rain keeps us addicted to blogging.
However, the real bonus of 200,000 points is that means I've worked hard on my Active Rain Blog. I closed 83% of all my transactions last year directly related to my Active Rain Blog. I set out to be the AGENT in Tracy and Mountain House, and frequently are organically on page 1 due to Active Rain. People FIND ME!

Our family went out for dinner to celebrate my 23 year old's birthday.
We went to Frankie, Johnie and Luigi's in Dublin, yes we drove 30 miles to get pizza! That is still the 23 year olds favorite food.
I digress, as we were sitting having a great dinner, with no TV's visible from where we were sitting. We were talking about my trip to the East Coast.

It was my turn, I had to meet the attorney at the court house at 8:15, of course he didn't show up until 8:30.....
I had the most amazing morning sitting in that court room. I may go back on a regular basis just to listen and learn.
We were there because my upcoming REO (Real Estate Owned - by the bank) property is still occupied. Yes, a mere 5 months later, a significant cash for keys offer and the "tenant" won't move out. Why do people buy a home? It's not what you think.
As I was helping an older couple move into a rental for the first time in 50 years and I was heart broken.
I realized later when I was speaking to the landlord, WHY people Buyer a home.
People do not buy the home for an investment.
People do not buy a home for the tax benefits.
People do not buy a home because it's expected.
People do not buy a home just to raise a family.

Yesterday, my son officially left on his journey as an officer in the Air Force to take his "tour of duty" in Iraq and I'm a mess. Tears come unexpectedly, I'm the calm one, the one who is 'tough', the one who doesn't wear her emotions on her sleeve...... I don't cry, rarely do.
