I’m just getting more active in the social scene, and as such many folks out there aren’t familiar with me and the Summa Real Estate Group---of which I am a principal---especially outside of Oregon. I’d like to share some things that I think make us a different type of organization; hopefully this can start some dialogue with prospective clients and fellow agents locally and nationwide, especially people looking for referral partners in the Portland metro area.

Above all else at Summa we put our agents first. We have the most open communication structure in town because there’s truly no social hierarchy: we’re all working toward a common goal, we're all driven and motivated, and that means that any of us are eager to help their colleague in any way possible. It’s no surprise then, that we operate an agent-owned group. Our agents have a stake in our company, which translates to fewer fees and unlimited growth opportunities within our industry and organization. We even offer franchising opportunities (which have been wildly well-received so far), offering agents the freedom of opening their own office while still having the benefit of our name-recognition, brand equity and resources.

On the topic of resources, I realize that real estate is an ever-changing business and is beginning to evolve in different ways than ever before. I ensure that Summa puts a priority on embracing any technology that can be of use in our day-to-day business, and that means actively seeking out the latest real estate technology---or simply personal electronics, websites, digital services---that will help us do our job better.

I hope this has helped familiarize everyone with me and the organization I’ve put so much into. My hope is that this opens the lines of communication with some of my fellow agents out there who are like-minded and might be interested in collaborating in the future. More to come soon!
