While that seems long in comparison to what we were seeing last year, 25 days on the market is still considered a seller's market. The second half of 2022 was quite slow at Lakeshore. Three condos were listed with one expiring and two selling. In comparison, this year is starting out great with four homes coming on the market. What do these graphs mean? The number of homes sold in July is higher than July of last year and the number of homes available for sale is down. In July of 2011, we had 179 homes for sale as compared to 220 in July of 2011. If there is more of a demand than there is a supply, prices go up as we see in the graph that says the median sales price is up 12%. Looking for fresh produce?? Ashburn has finally gotten a farmers market. You'll find it in the parking lot of the Kaiser Permanente building right behind the Ryan Park Shopping Center. It runs every Saturday from 8am to 12pm through October 25th. And it's not the farmers markets of old. While strolling through yesterday, I saw butchers, bakers and winemakers too.

Today is Make a Difference Day. The Ashburn Office of Long & Foster decided we would participate. We raised a little over $225. Several of the agents contributed. We also received a contribution from our title partner, RGS-Ashburn....thanks Michelle! The money went a long way. I went Target to pick up the goods for the drive. It took me about 45 minutes to collect the items for 6 baskets. What a great place to shop. Many of the toiletries were on sale so I was able to purchase more with my money.
