What worries me is that unemployment is not seeing any signs of decreasing currently and some inflationary worries are starting to creep into the system. Hopefully congress will wake up and start to stimulate jobs growth and keep inflation at bay. If congress doesn't get these two under control, we will see continued problems in the Real Estate industry.

Many REALTORS will probably be leaving the business over the next month. If you are one that is considering it, first ask yourself: have I done everything possible to succeed? SCHEDUALE doing things like: expires, sign calls, calling your sphere, blogging, facebook, linkenin, active rain, sending out letters, emailing, buyer/seller seminars, etc... Sounds like work? YES! This is a job. Work it and reap the benefits. If you sit on your butt and wait for the business, you'll be gone. Good Luck!!

The best way to provide customer service is to be organized. This means that you need to put a calender of duties that you do monthly and or yearly. It means that you should create checklists so jobs are done completely and correctly by your staff. Oh, yes I did mention staff. How can you get ahead, be organized unless you have an assistant(s). Get back to basics. Hand out your business card at any human encounter. Do open Houses, Do floor opportunity time, where your business name tag everywhere you go. Oh, and don't forget the almightly internet: blog, youtube, activerain, twitter, facebook, ect... All low cost ways gain some business. While you have nothing to do....maybe try some of these ideas.
