This is a wonderful event next to the beach and our Humiston Park.  On Ocean Drive with fine restaurants and casual dining are all within easy walking distance.  Humiston Park has a wonderful play area, picnic area and restrooms. 
Up to 40 members of the Vero Beach Art Club participate in this popular event.  It is a great way to meet the artists and purchase directly from them some fine original art.

Every-time I see a Manatee in our Indian River Lagoon I am impressed! To see this large body float up to the surface, in the wild, is an awesome experience.
Governor Charlie Crist delayed a vote this month on the decision whether manatees will lose their protections as an endangered species.  More studies are needed, Crist asked to hold off on the voting until the state develops a better counting system.
