client care: Wading Into The "Feedback" Debate Waters.....Is It Really Feedback You Want? - 03/01/11 12:43 PM
What are the steps you take when listing a home for sale? I bet you run comps.I imagine you visit the home and talk about assets and liabilities of the home.I would think you point out the busy street, high wires behind the home and street noise.I suppose you would discuss price.I assume you suggest decluttering, staging. You walk into the listing appointment and present yourself as a professional. You don't tell the seller "I'm going to take this listing, guess on price, and then wait for feedback to let us know what we should be doing to get it sold."

client care: Managing The Needy Client and Still Managing Your Time - 03/06/10 07:54 PM
Everyone knows immediately who I'm talking about. Doesn't matter if it's a first time buyer or a real estate investor, it's the client who calls/emails all day long with every question which pops into their minds. I think we all feel for these clients, it's a big purchase/transaction, they are unsure of the process, or the timeline, or the costs, or the disclosures, and they need to speak to you; you need to explain it to them and ease their minds. Of course....that's part of the job. The problem is that unless they are your only client (and that's a problem
