Wow time flies 2007 is almost over. Where have you been Quincy? I decided to take more classes involving real estate. I'm very close to finishing a course that really gave me trouble when I was getting my real estate sales license.

Also, I have been exercising more not at the gym but at home: its amazing what you can accomplish without weights. Now if I can just stay away from Krispy Kreme and other sweets I will be good to go.

I'm thinking maybe I can do a 2008 Calendar like the police officers and firemen do. Who knows: don't think Keller Williams will let me do that. I'm sure the ladies would like that right??? (Just Kidding)

It's still a great time to be a home-buyer. The interest rates are great here in Georgia and my investors WOW! thats all I can say. The banks are over-loaded with properties, homeowners are defaulting on their loans all across Georgia.

Now is the time to get off the fence become a homeowner or buy your second home or investment property.

Also I have a new website so go check it out! Well I have to go I'm off to class!   Until next time.

After high school I sat around the house and did nothing for six months. I decided to enroll in school at DeKalb College which is now Georgia Perimeter College and I got a job at Roadway Package System(Now its owned by Fed-Ex) as a package handler. Also, I got my first car boy was I feeling good. However, I had no idea what to study in college and I was a very new and scared driver. What did I do? Stay tuned for Part 3!

I always had an interest in real estate but in no way did I want to become a Realtor. My dad started buying houses in the mid 1980's in Atlanta and Decatur, GA. He had a Realtor who cared nothing about representing his client and sold my dad 3 houses that needed lots of work and then his Realtor vanished.

My dad would work 10 to 12 hours shifts then go renovate these houses. It took him months but he got his houses rented and sold. Dad was flipping houses long before the shows on cable T.V.

He did great for a man with little formal education and the albatross of Jim Crow South on his back as a chilld in Atlanta, GA.

He encouraged me to get into real estate at a young age: but like so many other young boys I wanted to be the next Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, or Reggie Jackson.

Again like so many other young boys my dreams of playing professional sports ended after high school.

What do I do now? I made good grades and had no criminal record.

What would I do? Well you have to wait for part two.

I enjoy reading and writing about real estate.

The market has slowed down but do not let that discourage you.

Mortgage rates are still low and their is new construction all over Decatur and Atlanta GA. Also, if you are into real

estate investing: now is a great time to invest as many homes are going into foreclosure(unfortunately) and

many sellers need to sell. Its a buyers market!

This blog will contain helpful tips and links that involve real estate so stay tuned and Come Back!
