I just finished up a new article about the asking price of Louisville Highlands homes for sale on my Highlands blog site, Living In The Highlands, and discussed the following chart, which shows a really large spike in the median asking price of homes for sale in 40204, which makes up a good size portion of the Highlands.  Coming up with a valid explanation of why the asking price might spike so severly proved difficult, but I gave it my best shot.  Please let me know if you have a few ideas yourself.

Earlier tonight I wrote just a short article on my blog site at www.LouisvilleKyRealEstateBlog.com about the current state of asking prices for homes for sale in Louisville Ky.  With a graph thrown in for good measure, I show how in just two months, there has been about a $14,000 change in the median asking price.

I have just recently started trying to help Stonecroft Homes, one of the premier Louisville custom home builders in town, market a few of their properties.  As such, they have forwarded a boat load of pictures of a few of their homes, and I am sharing a picture of one of their Louisville Luxury Homes here.  This particular home has already been built once, but I have just recently listed a building lot for sale in the Harrods Glen real estate area that Stonecroft Homes would be happy to build this house again.

For the bulk of the past year, the days on market measurement for Anchorage Ky homes for sale has risen fairly substantially with very little downward pressure.  But over the past few weeks, we have seen a sizable shift towards fewer days on the market for Anchorage homes.  What remains to be seen is whether or not we are looking at a tipping point, or inflection point, or whether a few homes simply sold quickly, and have affected the data in an odd way.  We can't tell for sure looking at this graph, but checking back in on a weekly basis for the next month or two really ought to clear the situation up a bit.
