Soft Shell vs Crab CakeWho knew that, in 2008, Maryland got its own State Exercise (Walking)?  I missed that one; did you?  Well, now we may be about to get a State Sandwich – Dorchester County, Chesapeake Bay-oriented as it is, is promoting the Soft Shell Crab Sandwich.  That’s terrific, because we’ll know what to eat before we go out and walk, and here’s to a healthier 2013 – Just don’t get the Maryland State Dessert too often – The lovely Smith Island Cake!

 

What’s your favorite Maryland Sandwich, and what’s the best place to get it in Howard County?  Soft Shell Crab Sandwich?  Or Crab Cake Sandwich?  Crab cake at Shanty Grill is one of my favorites.
