Yesterday, while trying to show homes for sale in Elk Grove, CA with home buyers who traveled from the Bay Area, we encountered some unexpected issues.
All of the homes for sale were either Short Sale homes or REO homes for sale.
As a Realtor, my due diligence was to call ahead making sure each of the properties were available, note all showing instructions and secure appointment times if owner occupied.
This is done not only out of respect for the homeowners but also to make sure that home buyers have a good experience when viewing the homes for sale.
