&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong id="docs-internal-guid-4fd04744-5bc3-7563-4ffd-39d63f726b32" style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium; font-weight: normal;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 13px; font-family: Georgia; color: #777777; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"&gt;These funds were collected through the joint effort of our Arvada and Westminster offices through a variety of fundraising events and individual donations. &amp;nbsp;The funds they collected were then matched by our company head to equal the grand total. &amp;nbsp;This contribution will help to build the new Jessica Ridgeway Memorial Park on the old site of Chelsea Park, which is where Jessica was reportedly heading the day of her disappearance. &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Yes, we know. &amp;nbsp;Here in Boulder and much of Colorado there are still patches of snow on the ground, and we hear more spring snow storms are expected, but its still time. &amp;nbsp; Time for homeowners to get down, get dirty and get in the garden! &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;The pleasure and warmth of spring has arrived with longer days, zealous sunshine, and earth's thawing and awakening. &amp;nbsp;Proof is the bright green plants and tiny buds that are peeking out and begging to be seen. &amp;nbsp;If you haven't cleaned up your gardens for spring, best get things going to get them growing. &amp;nbsp;Here are some helpful tips. &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left;"&gt;Begin by removing dead winter debris and get your soil prepped. &amp;nbsp;Great gardens start with healthy soil. &amp;nbsp;Much of Colorado soil is clay-based so it's best to amend soil with organic material (due to its healthy microorganisms that give plants much needed nutrients). &amp;nbsp; To the top layer of soil that has mostly dried out, add about 3 inches of organic material/amendment such as plant-based compost (scraps, leaves, straw, grass clippings or anything from the earth that has decomposed to a rich matter), aged manure, peat moss, sorghum, mulch, etc. Till and work amendments into soil to about six inches. &amp;nbsp;Some experts recommend letting the bed rest a few days before planting. &amp;nbsp;Organic mulch also helps keep weeds down. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
