Here's a cute home in my neighborhood that has 4 bedrooms and has just been reduced to $169,000. The architecture has the same characteristics of those downtown historic homes like big front porches, large dormer windows and siding/stone exterior. However, you don't have to worry about updating the plumbing or leveling the foundation because, unlike those old historic homes, this one is built in 2004. I like these homes in Georgetown Village because it combines the best of both worlds: Old home look without the old home maintenance.

Georgetown, just happens to be the Red Poppy Capital of Texas. If you love flowers, that's a good thing. If you only like flowers because you can give them to your wife when she's mad at you, it's still a good thing.

Starting a Business in Georgetown Texas It's hard to start a business. Yes, I can say I'm speaking from experience. When I was in the Army and stationed at Ft. Hood, I chose to commute from Georgetown to take a break from the military environment of Ft. Hood. It was a worthwhile 45 minute commute!
