The Manalapan Arts Council (MAC) is excited to announce that “Manalapan Day” will be held onJune 14, 2014 from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm at the Manalapan Recreation Center. Our Annual kick off to summer celebration will bring together residents from Manalapan and its surrounding towns for the event of the season attracting attendees of every age! The fabulous JOE PISCOPO is headlining the event entertaining with his famous comedy, impressions and songs at 8:00 pm. followed by a spectacular fireworks display as the evening’s finale!!! The Manalapan Recreation Department is proud to sponsor Homework Helpers again this year. This is a free tutoring program for children in grades 1 through 8 for all subject matters. Local High School students volunteer their time to help younger students in their educational struggles.
This FREE program is held at the Monmouth County Library Headquarters at 125 Symmes Drive in the children's section, Mondays and Thursdays between 4:30 - 5:45 p.m.

The goal of the 16th Annual Jersey Cares Coat Drive is to collect and distribute 50,000 “gently used” winter coats to at-risk men, women, children and infants.
Over the past fifteen years, Jersey Cares has collected, sorted and distributed thousands of winter coats to New Jersey residents in need through this program.

When your Marlboro, NJ neighbor is not mowing his lawn and it is driving you crazy the township can help. Call the Zoning Office (732-617-7225) and report the address. A letter will be sent to the homeowner explaining the grass ordinance and giving them ten (10) days to cut the grass. If after ten (10) days, the grass has not been cut, a Notice of Violation will be sent. Ten (10) days will be given for the grass to be cut. Manalapan Township is pleased to announce for the convenience of the residents, property taxes may now be viewed and paid on-line 24 hours a day 7 days a week. With the new Web Inquiry and Payment Portal (WIPP) program residents can make payments by credit card, debit card, or check. Fees are associated with the on-line payments to avoid increases to the municipal budget. It is important to note that the fees retained are paid to the service provider and are not paid to or shared with the Township.
