Saving the Banking Industry......to the demise of the Independent Broker - 04/03/10 10:08 PM

The bail out of the banking industry did not end with TARP. Enactment of the S.A.F.E act along with the registration of independent brokers with the NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System) is going to have a major impact on the real estate business. I am in 100% agreement with having a National and State test to ensure the education of brokers having certain level of competence before working with the public. I am also in agreement that being finger printed and run through the FBI files to ensure felons are not working with the public as a further safeguard.
