Pending Transactions in Baldwin County Show Increase - 05/14/09 11:39 AM
The warm weather has brought out buyers in Baldwin County. We have been showing homes for sale the last few weekends. We have noticed an increase in the number of pending homes that our customers have shown interest. We thought that in would be a good time to check the MLS and see if there is a trend that we can report. Mobile and Baldwin County Real Estate Trends and Statistics April 2009 - 05/11/09 12:50 PM
We have finished tabulating all of the statistics from the Mobile County Association of Realtors and Baldwin County Association of Realtors MLS data for the month of April 2009. Sales Activity has picked up in both counties. Buyers are finding great deals in our market. Lets take a look at the data by examining Trends and Historical Data: TRENDING CHARTS The number of units sold has increased the last 4 months in both Mobile and Baldwin County. I have had a number of listings that are short sales. In dealing with my sellers, I can attest to the amount of stress involved. A seller of a short sale is normally juggling money to determine which bills to pay when, borrowing against their credit cards, receiving countless phone calls from creditors, and dealing with the uncertainity of where they are going to live. Each month, I post a blog entry for examining statitistics and trends for real estate activity in Mobile and Baldwin County. This monthly analysis includes number of homes available for sale, number of homes sold, the median sales price of a home in Mobile and Baldwin County, Days on Market for Sold Homes, and Absorption Rate (the number of months suppyl of homes). The statistics are derived from the Mobile Association of Realtors MLS (GulfCoastMLS) and the Baldwin County Association of Realtors (Navica).
