The 55+ active lifestyle community of Heritage Isle in Viera (Melbourne, Florida) continues to be active (pun intended!). During the month of June 2009 there were five houses that closed in Heritage Isle. The lowest selling price was a 2 bedroom 2 bath 1 car garage patio home that sold for $138,000 (short sale). There are 11 properties under contract as well. Of these 7 are short sales. Anyone familiar with the short sale process knows these may take months to close.
