Jay Leno will be in town November 13 to emcee the COLORFUL COWPARADE STATUES AUCTION.  The auction will be held at the ACL Live Moody Theatre at the W Hotel (310 W. Willie Nelson Blvd).  Bidding begins at 6 pm.
 
Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas' Superhero Kids Program will benefit from the funds raised at the auction.

What am I speaking of?  The service of housecleaning that is FREE to any woman undergoing chemo.....

Volunteer Time for Austin Realtor
As a Realtor I want to give back to my community so I chose ten years ago to drive for the North Austin Caregivers.  This organization helps the elderly get to doctor's appointments, shop for groceries, take pets to vet clinics, small repairs, attend classes at churches and much more. 
Last Thursday, Oct. 20, North Austin Caregivers held their 7th annual Coffee Talk Fundraiser.  Genuine Joes in the Crestview n'borhood of North Austin hosted the fundraiser.  The coffee, tea and yummy brownies were a treat for all.

Advising family members as a professional Realtor means walking on eggshells.  You have to maintain not only your professional position but also the family connection - family status remains behind when the client status disappears! 
My niece's husband decided to make an appointment to talk with a new home builder about purchasing a home when their current apartment lease expires in two months.  The need to advise quickly would not have been so urgent but their complex requires a 60 day notice about renewing.

Life at a glance! The weather is perfect now in Austin Texas....cool mornings and evening with warm days. Sunlight blazes over our fair city but doesn't burn as it did for over 90 days of triple digit heat this summer. Awesome days to be on the lake to fish, dip your toes in the cool water or drift along watching the cranes stand perfectly still as though they are a statue.
Economy still hasn't picked up but real estate is waiting for buyers to realize NOW is the time to BUY. Rates are so low that your money purchases more than … (5 comments)

Rain, Rain Come Again Some Day.....
The nursery rhyme we all learned early in life is
"Rain, rain go away, come again some other day"...well I'm asking for it to come again NOW.
Here's a visual of what our area Lake Travis looks like today.... this photo shows a favorite scuba test out area at Windy Point.  Normally the water would be at the top of the rocks but Lake Travis has dropped rapidly in this year long drought that it is only 37% full!
