Do past buyers and sellers remember you? As agents, we all hope that the answer to this question is yes! Today, I was able to find out the answer to this question not once, but twice! This morning, Greg, (one of the agents in our office) came by my office to let me know he met one of my past buyers. I have some buyers who have tried to write an offer on two separate homes. The first time around we were waiting on the final approval from the mortgage lender that all was good before writing the offer. Friday we get the call that the buyers are good to go! We set the appointment to write an offer Monday. Monday comes and I find out the home is now under contract. Sigh....that was a really hard call to make. I am not sure if very many agents have had this happen but today, it happened to me. A potential buyer last week seemed very interested in using me as their buyers agent. We spoke, sent texts and emailed back and forth. Today I called to follow up and was informed, “oh sorry but I found another real estate agent through my bank”. Uh oh...with a sinking feeling in my stomach I ask, “is it through USAA ?” to which he replied “yes it is”. Last night our local hockey team, The Fayetteville FireAntz, had a ladies night. They were bringing awareness to the issue of Breast Cancer by wearing pink jerseys, giving pink shirts away to the fans and after the game auctioning jerseys and hockey sticks and gave the proceeds to charity as well. What a great way to show support to your community. There were venders throughout the concourse to have give aways and to show support for Breast Cancer. Omni Health and Fitness Center in Fayetteville This morning my wonderful husband decided it was time for us to get back to our fitness routine.
