Look at the picture below. What's wrong?
HINT: Do you remember the game Jenga?  A HABITEC Home Inspector recently came upon the the situation below.  What's wrong?

ANSWER: Well, when you are down in the crawl space and no one is around to see what you do, or don't do, just grab anything that will fill the void, right?  Just like the old Jenga game, where the challenge was to stack loose wood as high as possible and hope the entire game did not collapse, at least not while you are down there.  Must have been what the guy who created … (8 comments)

Nashville Home Inspector - What's Wrong With This Picture? 8-10-12 - 08/10/12 07:26 PM
Look at the picture below.  What's wrong? 
HINT: You are looking at an interior component of a HVAC split system.

ANSWER: Dust, lots of dust!  A it is covering the float switch installed on the emergency drip pan.  So what are the chances it will work when you need it?  Well let's not take any chances.  HABITEC recommends to get this thing cleaned, even if you just vacuum it off.  Anything is better than this accident waiting to happen.
