Among the many components of this Survey one of the main components is the entrance(s)/exit(s) to the building. Look at the picture below. Does this entrance/exit looks like it complies with ADA guidelines? HINT: Think about turning a wheel chair around in a circle.

When completing home inspections in the Nashville area, HABITEC Home and Building Inspectors check the service entrance conductors for proper attachment to the exterior meter panel or main panel. Look at the pic below. What's wrong? HINT: Settling soil can be a powerful force.
ANSWER: Settlement around the foundation can do a lot of damage. In this case, settlement of the soil at the foundation wall has pulled the service conductor conduit down and out of the electrical panel to which it was originally attached. Now the cable is exposed and it should not be. This needs to be fixed. And (0 comments)
Answer: Look at the electrical masts near the center of the picture. There is a smaller one and a larger one. Look closely at the smaller mast and you see 3 wires entering the mast. This is a single phase system. Three wires, single phase. Now look at the larger mast on the right. Again look closely and you (0 comments)
