Here I am at Peets Coffee off Bollinger and across from Whole Foods in San Ramon, California. I’ve been coming here off and on for coffee since arriving in San Ramon last August. Today, Sunday, is the first day I’ve brought my laptop along.
I thought I would grab a cup, a muffin and a table and peruse the 60 blogs I follow – relax and write a post or two. I had thought I would maybe make it a habit – come here in the morning for my eye-opener and blog.

When's the last time you saw a for real phone booth? Am I the only one that doesn't understand why more businesses don't offer free WiFi service? I used to work for Delta Airlines. So I spent a lot of time in airports. I could never agree with those airport annnouncements where they claim they are so consumer friendly and then want to charge you $10 a day to check your email as you change planes.
One of the major carriers, I think Continental, challenged Boston's Logan Airport on their WiFi monopoly and won. So, what the heck does this have to … (3 comments)
