Emerson New Jersey - Small Town AppealThe sign reads Welcome To Emerson! The picturesque Suburban Community of Emerson with it's closely knit population has coined the phrase "The Family Town". This small town is brimming with pride. It's no wonder it has that Small Town Appeal. Just like the neighboring communities of the Pascack Valley, Emerson New Jersey's center revolves around it's transportation link to NYC with a quaint train station. If the train doesn't reach your destination, Buses are available on the main passage through town on Kinderkamack Road. The Small Town Americana feel can be found in any one of the

bergen county nj: Wordless Wednesday - After the Storm - 11/02/11 09:01 PM
Cleaning up after the stormAfter the storm these are the kind of scenes we are seeing around our areas. As the cleanup continues and the power is still out in so many of our areas, power lines are still down laying on the ground everywhere creating very treacherous situations 3 days after the storm. It's truly amazing what the wrath of mother nature can do with just about 4 inches of heavy wet snow on trees that still have green leaves on them. The heavy snow weighed them down to the point of snapping them in half like this shot of a tree
